0.8.9 - Bug Fixes & Improvements

Improvements:

• Overall: Hidden setting display_scaling_enabled works to turn on and off Windows DPI Awareness. Open your "settings.json" file to edit this to true or false.
• Overall: Hidden setting reposition_offscreen_windows works to prevent MiniMeters from trying to reposition any windows that are not on a monitor. (NOTE: this may cause windows to be unreachable). Open your "settings.json" file to edit this to true or false.

Bug Fixes:

• Overall: Restored broken VSync on Windows & Linux.
• Overall: Fixed inconsistent VSync on some Macs (depending on graphics card).

Nerd Stuff:

• Overall: There is now an experimental Metal backend on macOS. You can pass the launch flag --use-metal to launch MiniMeters in this mode. Note this is quite experimental and will likely crash, but if you'd like to mess around with it be my guest.

I am actively working on v1.0 of MiniMeters. While I am prepping for the v1.0 release I am mainly going to be doing bug fix updates only. v1.0 will address many of the large feature requests and make large improvements to the UX/UI for MiniMeters. I appreciate the patience. :) - Joe
